Tom Lecky works with collectors, estates, fiduciaries, and institutions on a range of appraisal services for books, autographs, manuscripts, archives, and related material.
Tom has thirty years of experience across all levels of the market, and has had extensive training in Theory and Methodology, Ethics and Legal and stays current in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) which sets minimum standards for appraisal practice.

Tom offers broad expertise gained while working on both sides of the public and private marketplaces, and he has insider knowledge unique in the field. Clients benefit from Tom’s exposure to all areas of the printed and manuscript traditions: literature, art, science and technology, travel, exploration, historical Americana, and the history of the book. Some of the most significant collections to come on the market in the past three decades have passed through Tom’s hands, and he has appraised the papers of Nobel Prize winners, prominent artists, authors, and composers, as well as books in some of the most extensive private and public libraries in the world.
